Welcome to EduNest. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EduNest SaaS platform and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EduNest is a cloud-based school management platform provided by Edunest Tech ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide tools for administration, communication, billing, and academic management for schools and educational institutions.

2. Account Registration & Responsibility

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Account Ownership: The person who registers for the Service and pays the initial subscription fee is considered the "Owner" and has ultimate authority over the account.

3. Subscription, Billing & Refunds

• Subscription Plans: Services are billed on a subscription basis (Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly).
• Automatic Renewal: To avoid service disruption, subscriptions are set to renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled by the user.
• Payment Terms: All payments are processed via secured gateways. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service.
• Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our service and the availability of a Live Demo, payments are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

4. Data Ownership & Privacy

Your privacy and data ownership are paramount. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle data.

• Your Data: You retain all rights and ownership of the school data, student records, and content you upload. We act as a data processor and maintain transparency through internal audit logging.
• Transparency Tools: Owners are provided with tools to monitor platform activity, ensuring compliance with your internal school policies.
• Service Data: We own the Service, including all source code, design elements, and intellectual property.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to hack, decompile, or bypass any security features of the Service.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or spam.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduNest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss or business interruption.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or fail to meet payment obligations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Owners of significant changes via the email address registered with the account.
